2023’s RBI Assistant The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released the announcement for the 2023 assistant recruitment on Wednesday.
The opportunities.rbi.org.in website has opened up the application procedure. Candidates have until October 4 to apply.

This time, RBI’s recruitment campaign intends to fill 450 Assistant positions altogether.

On October 21 and 23, an online preliminary exam for the RBI Assistant position for 2023 is set. The main exam is anticipated to take place on December 2.
Eligibility
To be considered for these positions, a candidate must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who entered India before to January 1, 1962.
One of Indian descent may also apply if they have moved to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the aim of residing permanently in India.
However, in the case of such candidates, a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian government is necessary.
Maximum age
Candidates for the positions must be at least 20 years old and not older than 28 as of September 1, which means they must have been born between September 2, 1995, and September 1, 2003, inclusively.
Candidates from the reserved category will be subject to a relaxation of the upper age limit.
The bare minimum of schooling
To be eligible to apply, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. A bachelor’s degree is required by September 1, 2023, for applicants.
There is no minimum score requirement for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, however, a bachelor’s degree in a pass class is required.
The minimal requirements for ex-service members are a high school diploma, matriculation, or an equivalent exam, as well as at least 15 years of military service.
Candidates should be fluent in the language of the state covered by the recruiting office before applying for a position there. Possessing all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) is considered fluency.

The preliminary exam, main exam, and language proficiency test (LPT) will be used to select candidates. These are the examination plans.

Language exam
