According to a Page Six article, Anya and Malcolm were married at the Grand Canal’s ancient 15th-century palace, Palazzo Pisani Moretta. In 2021, Anya Taylor-Joy began dating Malcolm McRae. In July 2022, the couple wed in a small courtroom ceremony. The star had to travel to Australia to continue filming Furiosa, the prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road when she had her private wedding in the United States.

Malcolm first got to know the actor in March 2021 at The Queen’s Gambit’s premiere. According to the musician’s Instagram post from that time, the 29-year-old even penned a song specifically for the actor. “I composed this song two days after I met Anya. “Really Want to See You Again” is the title of the post, he wrote in the caption.
The actor revealed more about her relationship for the first time later in her interview with British Vogue, saying, “I told my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I’ve at last found someone who will read aloud to me in silence. We are essentially seven and eighty years old at the same time, and it works incredibly well.
